Boston, MA - City lights Electrical Co, Inc. is currently underway with the
complete core and tenant build-out of the 725,000 sq. ft., J.W. McCormack
building. The historic 23-story Federal Building is located in the heart of
Boston’s Financial District and is planned to house several Federal agencies.
The work includes a multifaceted Fire alarm system as well as the installation
of a new 8000 amp collector bus and Normal and Emergency electrical distribution
systems. A 1500 KW Life safety generator and a 750 KW auxiliary generator are
being installed on the 17th floor roof top. The complex lighting
system requires the restoration of historic fixtures, providing of replica &
custom fixtures and a state of the art control / dimming system.
City
Lights Electricals Sr. Project Manager, John Kiersey, General Foreman, Richard
Mansfield, Asst. Project Manager Donna Calderola, as well as the engineering
support staff of their office will manage the forty electricians and apprentices
of local union 103. The LEEDS certified project is scheduled to complete in
April of 2009
