Safety > Employee Training
City Lights' emphasis on safety
is foremost to both our employees' well-being and the ultimate
success of our company.
Providing a full-time Safety Manager and a written safety
program that meets or exceeds OSHA requirements has created
a safe environment throughout our jobsites, warehouses and
offices. All of our field personnel have 10 hour O.S.H.A.
training as a minimum. Our additional ongoing training for employees in both the office
and the field provides them with the tools and information
they need to continue to be the best in performing their work
safely.
City Lights' job site foremen ensure that employees are properly
informed of all applicable safety practices, and are provided
with and wear the necessary personal protective equipment
for the tasks they are performing. Tool box talks are also
incorporated to keep awareness of safety on the forefront
each day. We hold safety classes for all supervisors and managers,
as well as initial safety training for all new team members
before they start on the job. We also maintain cutting-edge,
high-tech equipment throughout all projects, a key factor
in retaining a safe working environment.

“In
any company, the biggest assets are their people. And if you
have the right people, and the right people using the correct
tools, it makes you a great company.”
