In 2003, to meet a growing need within the
electrical industry, City Lights launched a new division:
iSYS (an acronym for Intelligent Systems). Though City Lights
had been providing iSYS related services for many years, this
division was formed to keep the company at the cutting edge
of technology. In short, the iSYS division designs, sells,
services, and installs all aspects of security and life safety
systems. Backed by the experience of City Lights and dedicated
to the needs of its customers, iSYS is well on its way to
becoming the preferred provider and installer of innovative
products and security solutions in the New England area.
One of the best examples of City Lights'
iSYS work is the extensive upgrade of the highly sophisticated
baggage and security systems at Boston's Logan Airport. Not
only was the job itself complicated and challenging, but this
represented yet another fast-track project that the company
completed on-schedule. Work for the Logan Airport security
upgrade job included the installation of six new substations,
lighting, heating ventilation equipment, installation of power
feeders to the new conveyor baggage screening equipment, and
wiring security systems.
